Prayer in this petition is, for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.113 dated 22.6.2006, registered under Sections 406,420,467,468,471,506,120-B of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.
Vide order of this Court dated 24.8.2006, it was directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on bail, subject to the conditions enumerated therein.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined investigation, therefore, his custodial interrogation is not required.
Counsel for the State of Punjab, does not deny the aforementioned fact and states that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required.
In view of what has been stated above, the order of this Court dated 24.8.2006 is made absolute, subject to the provisions of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C.
This petition stands disposed of accordingly.
