The petitioners have filed the present writ petition for the following relief/s :

respondents to select/appoint the petitioners on the post of Constable/Police in the light of the Advertisement published in the year 2004 by the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Bihar bearing Advertisement No. 01/2004, 02/2004 and 03/2004, whereby (Three Advertisements), total 10474 posts were published for appointment of Constable/Police.
