Petitioner Rajan Parit @ Rajan Pandit, husband of the deceased, sought regular bail in Pipra P.S. Case No. 181 of 2025 (Thana Pipra, District East Champaran), registered for offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 80, 61(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with this petitioner in the year 2020 and after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty and harassment by all the accused persons due to non-fulfillment of additional demand of dowry and ultimately, this petitioner along with other accused persons committed the murder of informant’s daughter.

petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he is husband of the deceased. As a matter of fact, deceased committed suicide. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 27.04.2025. Charge has been framed on 18.10.2025.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this bail application is allowed. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Pipra P.
