Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Taraiya P.S. Case No. 149 of 2025 registered for offences under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 117, 109, 352, 351(2), 303(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3 . As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of assaulting the victim causing grievous injury i.e., fracture of nose.

4 . It has been contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the father of the petitioner has also sustained injury, therefore, the petitioner should be granted anticipatory bail even though he is alleged to have assaulted the victim

causing grievous injury.

5 . Considering the nature and gravity of offence, this court is of the considered opinion that petitioner does not deserve the privilege of anticipatory bail in the present case.

6 . Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail

stands rejected.

7 . The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below within a period of two weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised, failing which the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra will take all steps for the arrest of the petitioner.

8 . It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the proceedings.

9 . Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Saran at Chapra through FAX for its compliance forthwith.
