Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 353(2) of the B.N.S. and Section 25(9) of the Arms Act.

As per prosecution case, informant alleged that he received a video from social media wherein one person was seen brandishing pistol in public and on verification, it was found that it was this petitioner who was brandishing pistol. Petitioner has got two criminal antecedents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory
