the petitioner and Mr. Pawan Kumar Chaurasia, learned APP.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 234 of 2025 for the offence under sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 303(2), 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of the BNS lodged on 29.09.2025 by the informant, Shashikant Kumar Singh.

As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that when he was going to his home from Janta Bazar, the accused surrounded, and thereafter, the assault took place. Allegation against this petitioner is of giving knife blow on the neck which actually hit the head causing injury. The accused persons also took the money from the pocket. He was shifted to the hospital which led to the FIR.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only because he has criminal antecedent, got implicated in the matter and he has no role to play.

In this case, the Coordinate Bench had called for the case diary which is now available and learned APP has taken this Court to the injury report to show that the same has been found to be grievous in nature. Further, the petitioner has three criminal antecedents also.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts as also the nature of injury, no relief can be extended to the petitioner.

The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
