allegations levelled in the FIR changed during course of investigation to the petitioner having hired one Neeraj Kumar as a contract killer. The informant is not an eye witness to the occurrence and at best the case against the petitioner is of suspicion. The prosecution is mainly relying on the confessional statement of the petitioner made before police which is of no value in the eyes of law. No incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner’s possession and wife of the petitioner has been enlarged on bail. The petitioner has three children to support and chargesheet has been submitted in the case. The petitioner is in custody since 30.8.2025.
