The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 494 of 2024, instituted for the offences under Sections 109, 123, 103(1), 61(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Earlier vide order dated 28.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 18296 of 2025, regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court considering the nature and gravity of the offence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 22.12.2024 without any rhymes or reason.

There is no fresh ground to consider the bail petition of the petitioner.

In view of the above, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected.

Considering the submission made on behalf of petitioner, it appears that case has not been committed to the Court of session. Hence, the learned trial court is directed to take steps for commitment of the case and conclude the trial expeditiously.
