The instant appeal has been filed by the appellants against the order dated 05.01.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Jamui whereby the bail application of the appellants in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 464 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 190, 191(2), 191(3), 103(1) of the BNS and under Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (POA) Act, was rejected.

The appellants, making allegations of theft, have taken the deceased and one Vishal Manjhi with them and thereafter brutally assaulted and electrocuted them because of

which the deceased died.

The appellants are in custody since 27.09.2025.

Learned counsel for the appellants has submitted

that the appellants are innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

Learned Special P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the appellants.

Considering the facts of the case and also considering the nature of allegation levelled against the appellants, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order.

Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed.
