By way of this writ application, the petitioner has

prayed for a direction upon the respondent authorities to lodge and FIR and properly investigate the same by the higher ranking police officials. The petitioner has also prayed to procure and collect the evidence in the CCTV footage installed by the police as well as by the shops nearby as mentioned by the petitioner.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the State that the FIR has been registered in this case but now the further contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is

that the case is being investigated by Sub-Inspector of police whereas the FIR is against the Inspector of Police.

For proper investigation and for appointing the higher official of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, the petitioner is directed to approach the Superintendent of Police, Sheohar and if the Superintendent of Police, Sheohar finds substance in the prayer of the petitioner, appropriate orders shall be passed by him in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
