The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

As per the prosecution case, 536.7 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from four old bicycles and petitioner was apprehended on the spot.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Further submission is that petitioner has no concern either with the seized liquor or bicycles in question. Petitioner was only the passerby coming from the house of his relative and only on suspicion, he has been apprehended. Petitioner has clean antecedent and there is no chance of his absconding or

tampering with the evidence. Petitioner is in custody since 17.07.2025 and he undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and trial.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and period of custody, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court concerned in connection with Bairgania P.S. Case No.157 of 2025.
