Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and

learned APP for the State.

2 . The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Udwantnagar P.S. Case No. 286 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 132, 109 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3 . As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with co-accused Aman Kumar committed the murder of one Biltan Ram on 04.07.2024 at the instance of Bhuar Chaudhary @ Harendra Chaudhary. On the basis of the secret information, when the police party tried to arrest the petitioner and coaccused, they opened fire on the police party and in retaliation, the police party also opened fire in self-defense. of fire, the petitioner got injured and was arrested by the police while the co-accused managed to flee away.

4 . At the instance of the petitioner, one country made

pistol and one empty cartridge were recovered from the agricultural field. The petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2024 and he is accused in five more cases.

5 . Considering the aforesaid facts and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
