the petitioner and Mr. Rajiv Nayan, learned APP for the State.
2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with
Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 489 of 2024 dated 18.08.2024 registered for the offences punishable under sections 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner’s counsel are that as per the allegation, a country made pistol along with five live cartridges were allegedly recovered from the possession of this petitioner, in fact the petitioner was falsely implicated in the recovery of the alleged firearms by the police and he has been languishing in jail since 19.08.2024, though against him there is criminal antecedent of one case but he was remanded in that case only after being taken into custody in the present matter. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner is a

young person and despite the submission of chargesheet, the trial of the petitioner has not started till date.
4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid submissions and mainly the petitioner’s custody period as well as his young age, this Court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court concerned in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 489 of 2024.
