Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(2) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, all the named accused persons, including the petitioner, killed the daughter of the informant, who was married to Shivam Ram.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is brother-in-law of the deceased. He is separate in mess and property. Name of petitioner surfaced during investigation. As a matter of fact, deceased committed suicide.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently

opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.

7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura, in connection with Mehus P.S. Case No. 49 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
