The learned counsel for the opposite parties submits that in compliance of the order of this Court dated 5.12.2022, passed in CWJC No. 6807 of 2022, the Circle Officer, Chhauradano, East Champaran at Motihari, has already passed the final order dated 16.7.2024, in connection with Encroachment Case No. 12 of 2021-22, under Section 6(1)(a) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 and the proceedings have been dropped in view of the fact that it has transpired that the land in question is a raiyati land.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 16.7.2024, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands disposed off.
