The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):-

“1. That by this writ application petitioner seeks indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of appropriate writ/ writs, order/orders and commanding the respondents authorities to pay compensation to the father of the deceased, whose death has been caused by poisonous snake bite in the field of paddy.”

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Siwan to dispose

off the application, filed by the petitioner on 28.05.2021, for grant of compensation in lieu of death of his son on account of snake bite.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Siwan to consider the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner i.e. the father of the deceased, on 28.05.2021, which has been annexed as annexure P/6 to the present petition and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, a within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
