2 15-04-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the judgment passed in C.W.J.C. No.6139 of 2007 dated 31.03.2011 and L.P.A. No.756 of 2015 dated 16.08.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts, since the case of the petitioners stand on similar footing to that of the petitioners of C.W.J.C. No.6139 of 2007 and L.P.A. No.756 of 2015, there is no requirement to keep pending the present writ application.

Accordingly, petitioners are directed to file a detailed representation along with a copy of the abovementioned cases, before the respondent no.2 within a period of three weeks and the respondent no.2 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioners and dispose of the representation of the petitioners after affording an opportunity of personal hearing or through their counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of filing of such representation by the petitioners. The admitted dues/benefits for which the petitioners are entitled for, may also be made to them.
