The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent Circle Officer, Runnisaidpur who is sitting tight over the matter and not submitting the report pursuant to the letter no. 125 dated 11.06.2024 issued by the Sub-Registrar Belsund Sitamadhi with respect to a land appertaining to khata no. 579, khesra no. 11328.

On account of the lackadaisical approach on the part of the respondent no. 5 the registration of the sale deed is

pending for more than three months, is the contention of the learned Advocate for the petitioner.

Learned Advocate for the State submitted that from the averments made in the writ petition it appears that with respect to the land in question a basgit parcha has also been issued in favour of Bibi Habibum, wife of Gafur Khan vide Bihar Privileged Persons Homestead Tenancy Case No. 125/1976-77.

Be that as it may, considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 5 to furnish the report with respect to the query made by Sub-Registrar, Belsund Sitamadhi pursuant to letter no. 125 dated 11.06.2024 preferably within a period of 4 weeks.
