The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per F.I.R., petitioner is alleged to have procured the letter pad of Minister and misused it by putting forged signature of Minister.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely because he happens to be social worker and always used to raise voice for poor and downtrodden persons before the different authorities. As a matter of fact, the petitioner had earlier lodged a complaint, vide Complaint Case No. 12(C) of 2022, against the Minister & his men and in retaliation, this false and

concocted case has been lodged against this petitioner. He further submits that the Minister always misused his powers to implicate and harass the petitioner.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that there is specific allegation against this petitioner that he forged the signature of Minister on the letter pad to cause fraud. Besides this, petitioner has got eight criminal antecedents.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and criminal antecedent, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
