Pursuant to order dated 22.12.2023 calling for show cause, explanation dated 11.01.2014 has been received from the learned trial court. The learned Presiding Officer has submitted that due to serious condition of his daughter he went on earned leave during relevant period and for this reason the delay occurred in conclusion of the trial. It has also been informed vide letter dated 27.01.2024 by the learned Presiding Officer that the judgment was delivered on 18.01.2024 and order of sentence was passed on 27.01.2024. The learned Presiding Officer has tendered his unqualified apology for noncompliance of order this Court.
