Pursuant to the request made to the

learned counsel for the parties on 01.12.2022, a

meeting of the spouses was arranged, wherein it was decided that it will be better for both the spouses to end

the relationship.

As a consequence of such negotiations, a

petition for mutual divorce has been filed before the Family Court, Nalanda at Biharsharif. The petition has also been numbered as Divorce Case No. 15 of 2023.

According to the learned counsel for the appellant/wife, the appellant has agreed for parting of ways amicably and without asking for any alimony or maintenance amount from the respondent.

A photocopy of the certified copy of such

divorce petition has been furnished by Ms. Vaishnavi Singh for the appellant/wife, the contents of which have

not been disputed by Mr. Ram Prasad Singh, the Advocate for the respondent/husband.

In view of such development, we dispose

off this appeal as not pressed, but we direct the Family Court, Nalanda at Biharsharif to take into account the passage of time and the request for waiving the statutory period for declaring a decree of divorce by

mutual consent.

This Court would expect that a final decree

shall be passed within a period of ninety days from the
