Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he

has filed an appeal against the appointment of the respondent no.11 on the post of Anganwari worker to the Collector/District Magistrate, which has remained undecided, and therefore, he has filed this writ petition.

A writ petition relating to Anganwari worker, which is a contractual appointment under a particular scheme would not lie as per guidelines. The appeal thus lie to the District Magistrate with further revision to the Commissioner.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to pursue the appeal, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable with liberty to file appeal. The same shall be decided by the concerned District Magistrate expeditiously preferably within a period of three months.
