“(i) That by way of this writ application petitioner seeks indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of appropriate writ/ order direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of remaining compensation amount to the tune of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs) to the petitioner on account of sever acid injury inflicted by the accused person on 24-10-2014.”

was considered by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board on 15.12.2015, whereupon the Board has recommended for payment of a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- to the petitioner and thereafter, the said amount has also been paid to him. It is also submitted that in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, he can file an appeal before the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, under Clause 9 of the Bihar Victim Compensation Scheme, 2014.
