The present restoration petition has been filed seeking restoration of a writ petition bearing CWJC No. 1469 of 2020, which has stood dismissed on account of non-prosecution by an order dated 6.7.2022.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the learned counsel for the petitioner was suffering from fever, he could not attend the Court, hence, the aforesaid writ petition had stood dismissed for want of prosecution.
Having regard to the facts and

circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and having gone through the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct for restoring the aforesaid writ petition bearing CWJC No. 1469 of 2020 to its original file.
