The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 498(A), 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the Mediator’s report, kept at flag ‘N’, both the parties have agreed upon to resolve the dispute by one time settlement and petitioner, who is husband of informant/opposite party no. 2, has already handed over cheques of different dates in favour of Puja Kumari (informant/opp.party no. 2) for a total amount of Rs. 5,60,000/- (one time settlement).

Considering the fact that both parties have amicably settled the dispute, the anticipatory bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 366 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
