The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, some unknown miscreants looted cash of Rs. 20,000/-, ornaments and other valuable documents from the house of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. No incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is not named in the

F.I.R and the name of the petitioner has sprung up in the confessional statement of the co-accused persons Kishor Mahto and Prince Kumar. No T.I Parade has been conducted. The other co-accused person has already been granted bail vide order dated 24.02.2022 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 64993 of 2021 by the Co-ordinate Bench. The petitioner is accused in four other criminal cases as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 22.07.2021.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of detention, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Lakhisarai in connection with Piribazar P.S. Case No. 63 of 2021.
