This case has been given priority hearing because of
the marriage of the grand-daughter of the petitioner having been scheduled for 27.05.2022.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the
State.
The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 569 of 2021 dated 17.11.2021 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018.
Approximately 30 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a make-shift shop said to belong to the petitioner, which the petitioner denies.
The petitioner is in custody since 18.11.2021.
Though the petitioner has been made accused in three

cases, one of which is of the similar nature of offence but he has been granted bail in all such cases.
Considering the afore-noted facts the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IInd-cum Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 569 of 2021.
