The instant case has been taken up for consideration

through the mode of Video conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID 19 Pandemic, requiring social distancing.

As far as the first case is concerned i.e. C.W.J.C. no. 17104 of 2021, the writ petitioner has prayed for quashing the decision of the District Selection Committee, Nalanda dated 02.08.2021, headed by the District Magistrate, Nalanda.

As far as the second writ petition i.e. C.W.J.C. no. 6660 of 2021 is concerned, the same has been filed for directing the respondents to grant P.D.S. license in the name of the petitioner pertaining to Panchayat- Asthawan Block of Nalanda District relating to advertisement no. 01 of 2017.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner in the first case Sri Rajeev Kr. Labh, Advocate and the learned Senior Counsel, Sri D.K. Sinha, appearing for the petitioner in the second case, submit that the matter be relegated to the Divisional Commissioner, Patna Division, so that the dispute in question can be sorted out once and for all.
