Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Udawantnagar P. S. Case No.234 of 2020 corresponding to Excise Case No.887 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
The informant got the information about manufacturing of wine in village Asni by the side of river Bannas, the informant raided the place and recovered 35 litres of liquor. The informant named the petitioners on the basis of identification made by the Chaukidar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not apprehended on the spot. The Chaukidar named five persons including the petitioner. Ranjit Singh, one of the

person is said to have fled and identified, has already been granted anticipatory bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. The case of this petitioner stands on similar footing.
Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid and the similarly situated co-accused Ranjit Singh, who has already been granted anticipatory bail, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the Court concerned, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 4th Additional Sessions Judge, Ara, Bhojpur in connection with Udawantnagar P. S. Case No.234 of 2020 corresponding to Excise Case No.887 of 2020, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
