Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.

The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case the daughter of the informant who was married to the petitioner herein in the year 2017 was abused, assaulted, torture and done to death by the accused persons including the petitioner herein for nonfulfillment of the demand of dowry. Her body was disposed off.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations as levelled in the FIR are false and concocted. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because of his being the husband of the deceased. On coming to

know about the true facts, a petition has been filed by the informant in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali, Hajipur stating that her daughter was not killed but died as a result of illness. It is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 20.4.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted in the case.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case together with the specific allegations levelled against the petitioner which is supported by the witnesses in course of investigation and the petitioner being the husband of the deceased, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
