In the given facts and circumstances of the case, where it is the categorical statement of the Opposite Parties that the petitioner has not produced the document of ownership and registration of the vehicle in his name, the contempt application cannot proceed. It is dropped.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the petitioner had purchased the vehicle in auction from a Finance Company, namely Sriram Finance and presently because it has been purchased under hire-purchase, the name of

the Finance Company would be there on the claim showing the ownership of the vehicle.
Be that as it may, the petitioner will have to apply for
an adequate remedy in order to get rid of his difficulties.
