2 07-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This writ application has been filed for staying the public notice dated 27.05.2019 (Annexure-8), whereby applicants have been invited for selection of Anganbari Sevika/Sahaiyaka for Anganbari Centre No. 114 at VillageJhamatiya, Bachhwara, Begusarai. It is the petitioner’s case that she should have been appointed as Anganbari Sevika, pursuant to the merit list prepared, way back in July, 2013, in which petitioner’s name figured at serial No.1.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

petitioner has submitted that raising her grievance against the

authorities of not giving effect to the merit list dated 20.07.2013, she has preferred an appeal before the appellate authority but in the meanwhile, during the pendency of the petitioner’s appeal, new process of selection has been undertaken, after reorganization of the Centers under the said Block.

If the petitioner has any grievance against the manner in which the mapping has been done or the Centers have been reorganized, she can raise her claim before appropriate forum by making complaint/appeal. In my view, petitioner’s prayer for her engagement on the basis of 2013 merit list cannot be granted and the process of selection initiated with the issuance of notice cannot be stayed.

This application is disposed of with the observation that the petitioner may raise her claim before appropriate forum, in accordance with law.
