The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection

with Didarganj P.S. Case No.230 of 2019, registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 308, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a)/32(1)(2)(3)/36/41(1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

On information, a joint raid was conducted by the local police and excise Department in the house of Anil Singh and recovered arms and ammunitions from the possession of his wife Baby Devi. Huge quantity of about 985 liters of liquor was recovered from the house of Anil Singh,besides a vehicle meant for transportation of illicit liquor.

Devi, wife of Anil Singh confessed her guilt and disclosed the name of petitioners. She disclosed that the petitioners have stored the said articles in her house for the purpose of illegal trade.

On perusal of the F.I.R. it appears that the informant and other officials of the Excise Department jointly raided the house of Anil Singh and arms and ammunitions and huge quantity of liquor was recovered from the house. It transpires that the petitioners and other accused persons have stored the amrs and ammunitions and huge quantity of liquor for the purpose of illegal trade.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
