Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned
counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
From the report received from the Court of Sessions Judge, Madhubani, it appears that out of eleven witnesses, including official witnesses named in the charge-sheet, eight witnesses have already been examined and the rest are likely to be examined.
In view of the fact that the trial has advanced substantially, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected.
However, the trial must proceed on day to day basis so as to ensure that the same is concluded positively by the 31st of October, 2019.
