Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the present
writ application filed with a prayer for a direction to the respondents authorities for releasing the amount of the rent along with statutory interest against the premises of the petitioner taken on rent by the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department, Mohania, Kaimur has now become infructuous since the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed. Hence, he seeks permission to withdraw the present writ application.
