Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Vigilance PS Case No. 93 of 2017 registered under Sections 7/13(2), 13(i)(d) of P.C. Act.

The allegation in brief is that in the trap case one Md. Sahabuddin ASI was apprehended while receiving ten thousand rupees as illegal gratification and the petitioner was apprehended taking illegal gratification of one thousand rupees.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in Bheldi PS Case No. 175 of 2017 Md. Sahabuddin had seized the vehicle, he was IO of the case and allegation is that he made demand of illegal gratification for release of the vehicle but the petitioner is not concerned with the investigation or with release of the vehicle.
