Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 406, 407, 420, 34, 120-B, 386, 327 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he had sold the land to the complainant which was not agreed between the parties. Further allegation is of demand of ransom. Petitioner is in custody since 30.01.2018.

Considering the nature of allegation as well as responsibility of the informant to verify the title of the vendor before purchase of the same as required by the Transfer of Property Act, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-
