2 16-04-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody since 28.1.2018, seeks bail in Matihani PS Case No. 9 of 2018 registered under Sections 20/22 of the NDPS Act.
The allegation in brief is that 1.5 Kilograms of Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated however recovered ganja is small quantity of 1.5 Kilograms, the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and the investigation has been completed.
Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Lal Babu Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sessions Judge, Begusarai in connection with Matihani PS Case No. 9 of 2018.
