Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
In the instant writ application, the petitioner has sought direction for his appointment pursuant to selection process of the year 2008. In the meanwhile, the Rule has undergone a change. Now under the amended Rule, passing of TET examination is the eligibility for consideration for selection and unless a candidate passes the TET examination, he does not come within the zone of consideration for selection of Panchayat Teacher.
In view of the subsequent change in the Rule, no

relief can be granted to the petitioner. In case, the respondents undertake fresh selection process, the petitioner, if otherwise is eligible, may apply and his case may be considered in accordance with the existing Rule.
