which trial is going on and Nilesh Singh had threatened from jail to compromise the case otherwise he would kill them. Learned counsel submitted that though the same has also been narrated in the fardbeyan but for no reason allegation has been made against the petitioner and her other son for the killing, without there being any motive assigned. It was submitted that the allegation is absurd for the reason that there is a grandson of the petitioner i.e., son of the deceased, who is studying in standard-IX and on the fateful day, he had gone to attend marriage at another place and was not present in the house and the petitioner was trying to keep him away from the village fearing that he would also be killed. Learned counsel submitted that the petitioner is a lady, aged about 78 years, having clean antecedent and there is no cause for her to kill the daughter-inlaw moreso, when she was managing the affairs at the village despite receiving threats.
