Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and perused the report dated 7th April, 2017 submitted by the learned Sessions Judge, Gaya.

The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Trial No.1009 of 2017 arising out of Bodh Gaya P.S.Case No. 34 of 2016 registered under Sections 413 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 20th August, 2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35141 of 2016.
Regard being had to the fact that the investigation revealed that the petitioner is an active member of an organized gang which deals in stolen antiques and recovery of stolen

antiques of deities on the basis of disclosure made by the son of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
The learned Sessions Judge, Gaya is directed to personally monitor the case and ensure that the trial is concluded within six months from the date of framing of charge.
Let a copy of the order be transmitted to the learned Sessions Judge, Gaya forthwith.
