These land fall in village Mohammadpur. The writ application is filed under representative capacity stating that there are so many needy persons who belonged to the weaker sections of the society and entitled to settlement thereof. Section 27 of the Land Ceiling Act provides disposal of surplus land amongst the eligible categories of citizens. The petitioner has to make an application for such settlement.
