2 18-01-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Grievance of the petitioner is that though an application was filed for grant of licence for N.P. Bore Revolver/Pistol on 04.11.2013 itself before the District Magistrate-Cum-Licensing Authority, Patna, but no final decision has been taken as yet by the Licensing Authority.
In above view of the matter, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to take a final decision in this matter on its own merit and in accordance with

law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in view of the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent no.3 specifically stating that the matter had already been forwarded by the police alongwith his comments to the Licensing Authority.
