The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that there is general and omnibus allegation against several accused persons except the co-accused Naushad Alam upon whom there is direct allegation of assault by lathi upon the head of the informant. It is further contended that the injuries are simple in nature caused by hard and blunt substance.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Pintu Alam @ Sarfaraz Alam be released on bail in the event of his arrest/surrender before the

court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No.605 of 2015, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
