On account of persistent demand of rangdari from the informant over his mobile no.9771096823 from mobile no.8651899427 to a tune of Rs.5 lacs, instant case has been registered against unknown.
From the order impugned, it is evident that police had tired to link the petitioner through a chain of circumstance by way of introducing inculpatory extra judicial confessional statement that his Sala, Anil Kumar had disclosed the mobile number of informant which he passed over Raushan Rai who demanded the rangdari. Furthermore, as is evident from para-3 of the petition, petitioner happens to be an accused in similar kind of cases for which petitioner has explained having been victimized at the end of police. Petitioner happens to be under custody since 15.10.2014.

Accordingly, petitioner Umesh Kumar Rai is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Sikarahana at Motihari in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No.67 of 2014 .
