The petitioner is languishing in custody since 02.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414, 401 of the Indian Penal Code and 20/22 of NDPS Act whereas the charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 414, 401, 328, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 28A of Drugs and Cosmetics Act. From the possession of the petitioner two mobile phones, cash of Rs.1260/-, 20 Lorazepain tablets and 10 sachets white powder were recovered while the petitioner was roaming outside the railway station.
