2 18-07-2014 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in a position to satisfy the authorities that due to reason beyond his control and due to his long illness he was absent from duty from 4.10.2004 to 18.2.2010. Hence, he prays one opportunity to the petitioner to represent the respondents for reconsideration of the matter and for substituting the extreme punishment of dismissal with some other punishment, if necessary.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to represent the concerned authorities in this matter. If the petitioner files a representation with adequate supporting
