The prayer of the petitioners in this writ application reads as follows:-
"commanding the respondents to

recommend the name of total number of 388 candidates for appointment on the post of Block Statistical Surveyor, Jr. Statistical Assistant, Investigator as per the advertisement no. 1606 dated 24.8.2006 and to direct the respondents to consider the appointment of the petitioner on the said post."
While learned counsel for the petitioners had sought to press the aforementioned writ application, learned counsel for the State has submitted that a similar prayer though allowed by the learned single Judge by an order dated 19.09.2011 passed in CWJC No. 15477 of 2010 was held to be bad by the Division Bench in LPA No. 575 of 2012(Bihar staff Selection Commission and ors vs Manish Kumar and ors).
Learned counsel for the petitioners in reply does not dispute this fact.
That being so, this writ application is also dismissed in terms of the order of the Division Bench of this Court dated 22.08.2012 passed in L.P.A No. 575 of 2012.
