Having regard to the stand taken by Mr. Sarvadeo Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Veer Kunwar Singh University that a sum of Rs.2,34,293/- found payable to the petitioner has already been sent to the College of the petitioner for its being paid to the petitioner, this Court in absence of any quantification made in the order dated 17.3.2008 in C.W.J.C.No. 10976/2005 would for the time being accept that the direction given by this Court has been complied.

It, however, must be noted here that the amount till date has not been paid to the petitioner and has only been forwarded to the Principal of the College of the petitioner and therefore, this

Court would expect that the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar of the University will also ensure that the actual payment of the amount of Rs.2,34,293/- is tendered to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

Nothing said in this order, however, will come in the way of the petitioner in claiming his other legitimate amount as may be admissible to him in law.

With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
