2 19-03-2013 Petitioner’s prayer in this writ application is for a direction to the respondent Punjab National Bank for release of loan of Rs.5,000,00/- under Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Program.

Learned counsel for the Bank submits that the application of the petitioner was sent to the Punjab National Bank by the General Manager, District Industry Centre, Madhubani to respondent no.3, wrongly. The area in which the petitioner is residing has been allocated to State Bank of India, Madhepur Branch. Hence, on instructions, he submits that the application of the petitioner has been returned on 11.01.2013 to the General Manager, District Industry Centre, Madhubani.

This writ application is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the General Manager of District Industry Centre for forwarding his application to the appropriate branch of the Bank in which the area falls.
